4757 PARTICIPANTS BEGIN DAY TWO OF 60-KM WEEKEND TO END BREAST CANCER WALK RAISING OVER $13 MILLION 

Walkers will finish the last 30 km of their 60 km journey at Exhibition Place this afternoon

 

 

(Toronto, September 7, 2008) - Yesterday, The Campbell Family Institute at The Princess Margaret announced that 4757 participants raised over $13 million in Toronto’s 6th annual Weekend to End Breast Cancer event, a 60 kilometre walk to raise funds for breast cancer research and care at The Campbell Family Institute at The Princess Margaret. The seventh annual Weekend to End Breast Cancer benefiting The Campbell Family Institute at The Princess Margaret is already planned for September 11-13, 2009.

The Campbell Family Institute at The Princess Margaret benefits from millions raised by participants in two-day walk.

 

(Toronto, September 6, 2008) - Today, The Campbell Family Institute at The Princess Margaret announced that 4,757 participants raised over $13 million in its annual Weekend to End Breast Cancer event. This multi-day event is the largest single-event breast cancer fundraiser in Toronto. The seventh annual Weekend to End Breast Cancer in Toronto is already planned for September 11-13 2009.
